About Us
Our children's cancer service is highly specialised. Our doctors and nurses look after patients and their families throughout the diagnosis and treatment of childhood and teenage cancer.
Bramble Children and Young People's Unit specialises in caring for babies, children and young people between the ages of 0-18 years old. Patients who are over 16 and up to 18 (until their 18th birthday) are offered the choice to be cared for on Bramble or an Adult ward.
We aim to provide safe and effective treatment with as little disruption as possible to normal life. We are here to offer support, advice and follow-up care for our young patients and their families. We are a designated centre for Teenage and Young Adults (TYA) with cancer.
By Rail
We are well served by local bus routes, from across Devon. A number of services stop at the hospital, whereas others require a connection with a local bus route from Exeter City Centre.
By Bus
First Bus Route 1 calls outside the hospital at 15-minute intervals for most of the day.
Parking
Car parking on site is limited, with a number of paid car parks controlled by Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras (ANPR). Please check the Hospital website for charges.
Parking discounts
If you provide us with your car details we will exempt your car whilst on treatment.
